Terms of Service

Welcome to Immediate Mobile Notary (“Company,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our website https://www.immediatemobilenotary.com, our services, and participation in our SMS messaging program. By using our site or services, you agree to these Terms.

1. Services Provided

Immediate Mobile Notary provides mobile notary and related document services. All services are subject to availability, state notary laws, and proper identification at the time of signing.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts to use our services.

3. User Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information when booking services.

  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

  • Not misuse our services for unlawful or fraudulent purposes.

4. Booking, Pricing, Payment & Cancellations

Choose the correct service. Your booking must match the actual location, appointment start time in Pacific Time, urgency, and number of signatures requiring notarization. Standard Mobile Notary is for homes, offices and other non-facility locations. Hospitals, assisted-living communities, skilled-nursing facilities, rehabilitation centers and other care facilities require Hospital & Care Facility service, including signings in a lobby or common area. Correctional facilities and loan signings use their own services.

Current rates and inclusions. Review our retail pricing and the selected Square service before submitting a request. Standard, Urgent, and Hospital & Care Facility visits include mobile travel and coordination plus the first notarized signature. Additional notarized signatures are $15 each for the applicable notarial act, subject to state-law limits and exemptions. Use the required “Total notarized signatures — first included” selector within your Standard, Urgent or Facility service: 1 total adds $0; 2 total adds $15; each further signature adds $15. This selection updates the booking total. Count notarized signer signatures, not documents. Do not book a separate signature service. Contact us for more than 11 total signatures or an uncertain count. The separate signature-count question at checkout collects information only and does not add another charge. Additional services, waiting, extended travel, parking, tolls, printing, scanbacks and witnesses must be disclosed and approved before they are charged.

Time bands and urgent requests. Select the rate for the appointment’s start time in Pacific Time. Holiday pricing replaces the regular time-band rate. Contact us before booking if you are unsure whether a holiday rate applies. Urgent Notary Service is for a visit requested within two hours, subject to our confirmation of availability and arrival time. Its listed price already includes the urgent premium; do not add Standard service. Urgent facility visits have separate rates or require a confirmed quote.

Incorrect selections and price changes. If the selected service, time band, signature quantity or add-on does not match the requested work, we may correct the booking and quote the applicable price. We will explain the revised total and obtain your express approval before dispatch or additional services. A booking request, appointment confirmation, declined request or replacement appointment does not by itself authorize an undisclosed increase. If you do not approve a corrected total before dispatch, we will not provide the revised service or charge the difference; contact us to cancel the request and arrange the refund of any prepayment for that unperformed service.

Payment and confirmation. Online bookings require full prepayment of the checkout amount. Requests remain subject to review of the location, service, time band, signature count, access requirements and notary availability. Any revised amount requires your approval. Please retain the written confirmation of the service and total.

Cancellations and incomplete visits. Contact us at least two hours before the appointment to cancel or reschedule. Prepaid appointments require our assistance. Any cancellation or travel charge must be disclosed in the booking terms and agreed before dispatch. If the notary travels to the appointment but cannot complete the notarization because of signer, identification, document or access issues, an agreed travel/service fee may remain payable; no notarial-act fee is charged for an act that is not performed. These pricing and booking updates apply prospectively from September 19, 2026. They do not create retroactive authorization for charges on earlier appointments.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on our website (logos, text, graphics, etc.) is the property of Immediate Mobile Notary and protected by law. You may not copy, distribute, or use our content without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Immediate Mobile Notary is not responsible for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services. Notary services are limited to the lawful witnessing of signatures.

7. SMS Messaging Program Terms

By opting into the Immediate Mobile Notary SMS program, you agree to the following:

  1. Program Name: Immediate Mobile Notary SMS Alerts

  2. Program Description: Users who opt in will receive SMS messages related to appointment confirmations, updates on notary services, customer support, and occasional promotional offers.

  3. Opt-Out Instructions: You can cancel the SMS service at any time. Simply text “STOP” to (888) 879-2818. After sending “STOP,” you will receive a confirmation message, and you will no longer receive SMS messages from us. To rejoin, sign up again through our website or booking form, and we will resume sending SMS messages to you.

  4. Help Instructions: If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program, reply with the keyword “HELP” for more assistance, or contact us directly at hello@immediatemobilenotary.com or by phone at (888) 879-2818.

  5. Carrier Disclaimer: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

  6. Message & Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply for any messages sent to you from us and to us from you. Message frequency may vary. For questions about your text or data plan, please contact your wireless provider. For privacy-related inquiries, please review our Privacy Policy.

8. Privacy Policy

Your use of our services is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

9. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised effective date.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.
